Server off?

Hi, I joined 10 days ago, and I loved this server O.o.
It's been 3 days the server's been off, anyone know what's happening?

Not sure whats going on, could be a problem with the vps.

I'll ask about it.

sometimes... things just "happen" if im correct this server has been on a downfall since last year..not to mention its staff...

Yeah so sad, i never have time to play.. and the only time i do have to play the server is off :/.. kinda sad..

the way i see it all rsps's are dying lately.. maybe its just cause school or such...but i don't care much for the server anymore, wish the most to abel he worked hard. all though maybe he will think of something to make it popular again >_>

I find it funny when people complain about the staff, then talk about going back to their "other" servers.

Why don't you just leave, and not come back? Every staff member has done what it takes to earn Abel's trust to be promoted.

We give people a chance to be a mod, some work out, some don't.

Stop getting lies into there minds Nate,

Earning the trust of Abel enough to be promoted isn't that hard and has been explained and demonstrated in-game with numerous staff being jerk-offs and wannabe's.

Another issue about this server is the Owner.

The owner (Abel) is a coder which spent a long time creating the existing server. It isn't the hardest server to create with only a select few of unique things added that aren't in any other servers that I know off.

I used to be a Moderator when the server was soaring and I was respected by the community and the staff team and Abel was both active which enabled the players to have conversations with him and allowed us to talk to him if we have trouble or someone creates trouble in which we can't stop.

Then after the client was ruined by 'Luther' only some people could get on because they had another client that worked. Once another client was created alot of people decided to give Unforgivscape another chance but a couple staff were demoted including myself and Abel decided to not be as active because he thought that he had done enough by just making a half-ass client.

Time went on and Abel promoted some players but the player base hadn't even grown by anything and so I talked to Abel and his reply was "Don't worry the server will grow soon" and mentioned that "I have a friend with a big youtube account that will upload a video for me". All these weren't followed through and thus the player base didn't increase.

A couple weeks later the server started to get a decent player base and I think Abel must of felt like being active because he thought that maybe he could get some donations out of the growing data-base which he did get.

A problem then was created between me and these two players who had donated to Abel and recieved 'Moderator' status for being nice and polite players. Which I believe is incorrect and their donating had an influence on the decision.

Anyway they were demoted after a while for creating annoyance between the player base and abusing their powers against me and a friend called "Luke" who is another old player. Time went on and people got sick of their being no updates and some of the players that would socialise with others started to not be as active because they would get bored and thus creating a boring community for the server until barely anyone was active.

A long time has gone and it's got up to now where i've been really inactive except for checking the forums once and a while and I think that the new players joining started to like the server then got bored because of the inactivity of staff and the owner and now the servers VPS has been removed because Abel doesn't want to pay the VPS out of his own money.

Although he may of recieved his last decent donation over 1-2 months ago and he might say "I've paid the last 2 months out of my own cash" any normal person would know that he should of saved the money he got from donation instead of spending it on other stuff. So technically his still spending the donation money if he buys the VPS for a couple more months.

I wrote this because I was sick of mis-information being released by Nate because players deserve to hear the truth and if Abel isn't going to release a honest topic describing why he has been inactive, why the server has died and other stuff I'm going to right the honest opinion of a player who has seen the up's and down's of Unforgivscape 317.

If you read this Abel, You need to seriously think.

Do you want to continue this server or just delete it?

I'm not sure why you think I post misinformation Caleb, there is truth in what I said.

There have been problems all along, this is not the place to write novels about them.
