How To Get Rares!

Mith Dragons![u]
As you cannot spawn an anti-dragon shield you will have to be focusing on the game while your playing!
I like to use:
*Tanker Set
*Robin Hat/Ranger Boots
*10 Prayer Potions
*Vengance ::veng, ::lunar
*::food whenever you need mantas.
Mith Dragons are one of the hardest non-boss npc's to kill and it can take a very long time if your not doing it right. I personally farm these for about 45minutes a night averaging about 1-4 drops. As far as a ring of wealth goes it is probably in-affective and a rangers ring would be more suggestible.
When Killing these dragons make sure you have "Protect from Melee" on at all times. I know your probably thinking "Melee?" well yes because Protect from mage does nothing for you.
Now onward. While killing these dragons get right up in their grills! Make sure your right in front of them or they will use dragon breath the whole time fighting and can hit a max hit of up to 60! Its a pain in the ass dieing while farming.


Cyclops
Cyclops are a very simple NPC to kill quickly. There is a fast method that is a no brainer that I use while farming these.
Use:
*Melee
*::food
To get to this npc use ::cyclops You will find yourself at a mountain simply run killing them. Their respawn time is fairly slow compared to the mith-drags but the drops can be worth it. Once you come to the top of the mountain instead of running back type ::cyclops again. Repetitively do this until you get the drops you want.
I used this method and after 2 runs I got a Dark Light. Don't get discouraged.


Slayer Tower Monsters
Talk to the NPC at home to teleport to the slayer tower.
I use:
*Range Tanker/Robin combo
*Veng ::lunar ::veng
*::food
* Prayer for the higher monsters
* Ranger ring
A simple way to begin the game is coming here. After using ::master and getting a set this is an easy efficent way to get rares quickly. I reccomend Abby Demons/Dark Beats because they drop d-bows,d-lights and whips. This is better than the bone dagger at gargoyles. If your searching for a rune c'bow go to garg's.

Red Dragons are the same as mith drags in my mind.

Thanks for all the nice comments and People use protect from mage because when they use range attacks they attack from a far and it is using an attack that looks like a fire wave coming at you. Just trying to clarify what I see.

Yes, perhaps you and Username can combine monster drops? Very good idea in my mind.

That we could I have to do more research first on it though.
