Time is money. Donate for updates if you want them so badly, and don't freeload.

Time equals money means that the time Abel spends making updates, he can be elsewhere, making profit another way. He's an irl merchanter obv. Here is an idea though: Since you are a reasonably good coder, no lies there, perhaps PM'ing Abel about creating updates for him, for in-game items or some other reward?

I think thats potentially a good idea, since you want to make them, and he doesn't, while he wants to keep the server online.

I would have donated more if he had a list of items, or powers etc to be donated for.

Hrm. There must be some reason to it, I will not speculate, but if we find the right way to present it to him, perhaps we can sway him to add some much needed fixes.
