Price Tutorial

Hello everyone, I'm Awesome4Me (Nate), and a very large merchanter for our amazing server!

I realize we do not have a standard price list, and it has been some trouble ever since the original 508, and so I will create for us a basic table, using a point system, ranging from 1, to 10, based on the trouble getting the item, and its basic worth. I will not base rares on their large damage output, comparing an Armadyl Godsword to a DarkLight for example: they both hit very high when spec'ing, however the Armadyl Godsword is substantially harder to attain.

This list is what I would consider in ALPHA stage, meaning that ALL of these prices will flux and change as more players join the game, but for now, I will list the rares I know of off the top of my head, decide their rarity by what I believe they are worth, remember I am a very experienced merchanter for all of the 508, and then let you all add to my list along with what you believe the prices SHOULD be.

EG: Prices are equal to eachother, meaning 10 items of 1 point each are equal to a 10 point item. You must always remember that a player you are trading with DOES NOT have to accept your offer!

Thank you for looking at my *1st attempt* at a price guide, feel free to comment and rate, and don't forget to add to anything i've missed. Please don't rage at me trying to establish a stable economy, all anyone says anymore is "offer" so at least this is the foundation for a better table.
I understand i've skipped some numbers in the point system, 4, 6, 8 and 9, but this is my first draft of a list, and i'm sure i'm missing tons of items.

Granite maul is way more than that...

DFS isn't that rare, Super restores aren't really a "rare," Dragon platebody isn't even a rare.? Armadyl armour should be just about as rare as bandos. and you forgot "Naval"and "jester"

Allright, i'm on my way to work though (4am), i'll change around some of the items and add the jester and naval, as I thought jester was spawnable.

Other news: Do you guys and gals think this is something worth editting to make perfect? So people in-game can use?


EDIT: Armadyl is common because I personally get it very often. I usually get about 3 platebodies and 1 helmet before I get a hilt or gs blade. Moving granite maul down and adding jester and naval

Bumping, and yes super restores are a rare technically, since you cannot spawn them. And they are uber useful when pking or on long farming trips (I use them myself) because they restore prayer to 99 with one dose, i.e: 1/99 prayer left and you drink one, 99/99 prayer again.

Jester IS spawnable (I pk in it all the time)

No, silly jester is spawnable. Jester is only given out by abel

Goodjob, this guide will help new players, its just they will still ask ingame, without knowing to look here, maybe abel shoul add a "go to forums for the price list" or something like that.

i actually dont think this is good, since whip is 2 and dark light / bone dagger is 1, and i get way more whips then dark light / bone dagger

I dont think gmaul counts since its donator + arma / bandos should be the same,

dragon plate should be added by other dragon armour

3RD age range / mage / melee should be the same,

Hilts should be in same spot, since u cant use them, except using blade on it >_<, after adding blade you could put gs's on their own spot in list.

Whip is actually just as difficult to earn as a darklight, and in my personal experience I get 3 darklights before I get 1 whip.

Gmaul is not donator, and armadyl is much easier to get than bandos.

Dragon plate is already added and is much, much more difficult to attain.

3rd age range is very easy to get, melee is difficult, and there is not 3rd age mage in the game.

Bandos drops hilts like crazy, reducing their value, and also drops his godsword complete, making it also commonly rare.

Nope, only gained through Kalpite Queen

that reminds me, add the dagger called "keris" acquired from KQ. Not the poisoned one or anything but the legit one.

It does crazy damage on KQ and is rare ( ihave one )

I had one till abel got me reset and gave me 1/100th of my rares back. lost so much shiet, shit was not cash at all

Dragon platebody looks dragon on some client, and mithril on the other.

You should switch legendary and ancient..

Legendaries are phats and such

Make a 525 item help list, this is very good

Thank you, it took many hours to put together, although Legendary is something hard to achieve, while Ancient can only be given out. Meaning Ancient > Legendary.

I am working on a 517 list as we speak, too. :]

Just rename some stuff, remove the bolts, rename the Categories and your all set.

Can be done easily 20 mins ;D

btw YoYo can be bought in ships for ) coings, Just saying...

Locking this thread because it is no longer needed.

These prices were accurate for the last server and no longer apply, so commenting on the YoYo that can be bought in *shops* isn't needed.

I will begin working on a new guide, once the economy stabilizes.
